Would it not have been a blast (or something approximating that) to visit the Grey Gardens in person?
What a faublously crafted piece. Now that I think about it, both the video and the Revolutionary Costume are fabulously crafted.
So I definitely think this is the best costume for the day...

Having spent time with lunatics living in squalor (better known as "my relatives") I can't say that much in favor of it. In fact, I put in a great deal of effort to avoid it.
are you kidding, Miss J?
I have dreams.
I wonder if Little Edie had any thoughts of wisdom about Madonna. Maybe Madonna hung out at Reno Sweeney's in her early days in Manhattan. Maybe they were pals. Or maybe they hated each other.
I pipedream about staying at Grey Gardens, too. How can I miss people I never met?
Not sure if you know, but I hear that Jerry is a NY cabbie. Like RIGHT NOW, as we speak. Over the Labor Day holiday I took random cab rides just on the off chance the fates would put me in his.
Riding shotgun with the Marble Faun! Can you imagine?
Oh Michael,
Yes, I had heard about Jerry a while back....by way of the daily posts from the Grey Gardens Mailing list.
I'm a sick, sick man, I'm afraid.
And Michael (no 1), I think they did,
but I have a feeling it was an unrequited love on Miss Ciccone's part, don't you?
You're really on a daily Grey Gardens mailing list? I'm speechless.
