Portuguese love



Just because...here's one of my all time favorite Teena Marie songs....and it's hard to winnow them down too.

She and I are so similar it's uncanny...both white, lesbian wanna-be black girls, you know.

Okay it’s creepy how much our musical taste mirror one another. Casanova brown is my all time favorite Teena song following Portuguese Love...thanks for the flashback of riding around town in my convertible listening to Teena and Rick signing love songs...white, lesbian wanna-be black girls...notwithstanding...

Oh my root how I love Lady T! Seeing her at Essence in 2005 was wonderful. I did my damnedest to get on stage to do Rick's part in "Fire & Desire" but they were scared of this white boy going there hehe!
