going old school

Alice Ghostley's recent sad passing
made me remember "To Kill a Mockingbird," one of my favorite films....
not to mention the five, count 'em five, in-a-row synopses of the movie...uhhhh... I mean "book" (it's part of our summer reading list) I had to listen to today.

Anyway, on to the point here. Somewhere along the line I got to thinking that if I could invent a man, I think I might just have to invent Gregory Peck.
From that voice to those eyes....to the (albeit fictional) character, and, I don't know about you, but it's all enough to make me swoon.

Oh, yeah. He was a MAN.

Okay so somewhere along the line of five book reports on “To Kill a Mockingbird” you lapsed into a daydream involving the perfect man, Gregory Peck? What a lovely way to ease the monotony.

Atticus Finch owns my ass, too.

That's *exactly* what happened, ayem8y.

I wouldn't kick Atticus Finch out of bed or anything, but if we're talking about tapping fictional character ass, I'm more of a Tom Joad guy myself.

Miss Janey would eat that with a spoon. Then lick the bowl.

What did Alice Ghostley play on "To Kill a Mockingbird"?

Gregory Peck and I happen to share a birthday, along with Bette Davis. I know I've mentioned this before. suck it. Also, I've actually seen his tomb (it's really sort of a sarcophagus) in the basement, or catacombs, or whatever they call it, of the new cathedral in Los Angeles. It's very white.

I bow down to you Peenee.

I'm glad there's a sarcophagus. He deserves something big and white.

Jason, I completely agree. A bit reserved on the outside, touch of righteousness thrown in... kinky as hell with the lights off :) He's perfect.
