Wow that’s eerie! I’ve had this song in my head for days now and pulled up the same video just the other day. I was confused about the lyrics running through my head over and over. When I looked up the lyrics to the song I found the line to be, “Don’t want isolation, but the air it makes me cold” The version in my head went as follows, “Lady cab driver, roll up your window fast...Don’t mind oscillation but the air it makes me cold.” I like mine better, it’s funny the things you mishear in a song. When I was little kid the neighbor down the street thought she heard “If you like penis alota...and getting caught in the rain” instead of, “"If you like Pina Coladas.” Too funny...we should post about songs with lyrics that we misheard...
Would have been cool if Ann Miller (who, of course, played a lady cab driver in On the Town)had covered this at some point. Well, cool in a spooky way.
I like yours better too, aye8y,(lyrics that is). Oscillation is a sexy word!
I posted one such post about my mishearing (and giggling) at Fergie's lyrics down there....but maybe you're right.
And I think pretty much *anything* done by Ann Miller would have been cool in a spooky way, Junk T.
