Why do we make things so damned complicated as we grow up? Why can't we all be like Nolan. :)
The forces opposed to gay marriage here have consistently claimed that if the amendment forbidding it didn't pass, teachers in California would be forced to teach elementary school kids about gay marriage (not true, and even if it was, so what?) When this story broke, they ate it up and spewed it back out. I'll be so glad when this round is finally over.
