Whatever crushes

The other day, I took myself to see Woody Allen's "Whatever Works".....any excuse to see Patricia Clarkson (who was the best part, by the way).

I didn't have very high expectations, but I (and the rest of the audience too, seemingly) found it to be delightful.

Part of the delight came from the discovery of the impossibly beautiful Henry Cavill. I'd never heard of him before. How did he escape my attention? Dreamy.
Easy enough to have a crush on him, of course. Requires no work at all:

More interestingly, also in the cast was another one of my early, less predictable crushes.

Yes, Ed Begley Jr., still looking mighty fine today, in my opinion.

Mighty fine.

Here's the best I can do with some early Begley beefcake.
(You're welcome.)

I have very catholic tastes in my crushes, it seems.

You MUST watch the Tudors for all of Henry Cavill's splendor. Me LUST him very much!!!!!

That is one fine male specimen.

Miss J thinks it would be fun to live w/ Ed B for a day or two... Have him standing by with a stop watch while on showers, then having to hop on a bike to power the toaster...

Ahhh, Henry Cavill. He is quite cute. I first discovered him in the 2002 version of The Count of Monte Cristo. But you can see his, uh, "splendor" - his rear splendor at least - in The Tudors.

Larry David was perfect as Woody Allen, wasn't he? Fun movie. Not one of Woody's best, but better than his last few, I think.
