Figs from the back yard, photographed just before being plucked and boiled in sugar. Too bad the picture is a bit blurry. I guess they were nervous, knowing what was coming. I might just have enough for my grandmother's fig cake. mmm

Aaaw- it makes Miss J so envious... She has gotten the definite impression that between Junior pulling it over, then Miss J deciding to move it, her own fig tree is now dead.
Love me some figs!! My tree is growing by leaps and bounds. Lots of unripe figs...but they never seem to ripen. The tree is only 3 years old. Maybe that has something to do with it. It just taunts me!
Now bring us some figgy pudding!
I'll trade you basket full of fresh Roma Tomatoes (from my garden) for a jar of your fig preserves.
