Yessssss. Can't wait to get home for king cakey goodness! My mom would always drown the baby in her coffee if she got it. Is it any wonder I'm deficient in maternal instinct?
I was up half the night making my own damn candied fruit for my first attempt at a Rosca de Reyes, the Mexican version of the Kings Cake. Most people buy them here, but I'm pretty sure all those neon pineapples come courtesy of that illegal food coloring that gave everyone flipper babies in the seventies.
How many people have choked on these?
I have a collection of the damn things, all pulled from my very own mouth.
