The rain is bruising the gardenias, pouring out their perfume.
I've had a month long headache.
The poisonous buck moth caterpillars are dropping like kamikaze pilots from the oaks.
And of course, one has just dive bombed my foot today...again.
Pain!

Word has reached us that the sweet olives are blooming all over NOLA. I miss them SO much. They won't bloom out here, it's too temperate.
and the angel trumpets too, peenee...and the jasmine. It's heady stuff tonight.
