Do let's hope not. Some things in this life ought not to come in what were once referred to as "designer colors" (remember Harvest Gold?). Oak is one of them; it should be oaken, or at best golden.
I immediately ripped out my paneling with the label entitled Safari Blonde and tacked it up on the outside for Hurricane shuttering. I was ever so embarrassed.
It was the 70s, shouldn't it be Advocaat Oak!
