The best thing about the original Cher (and Farrah) dolls was that they were half an inch taller than Barbie (they weren't made by Mattel; Mego, I think) - and with a little effort, Ken fit their fashions surprisingly well!

I had the Cher and the Donny and Marie dolls. My evil mother gave all of my dolls to the little girl next door when I went away to college - without asking! We still don't speak.
