Meanwhile, I've gotten somewhat fond of wandering the halls and stairwells of the hospital past midnight.
On the weekend it's nearly deserted....and cold as a morgue.
It's like being trapped in a creepier version of From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankenweiler.

Start browsing in the nurses' station for spare drugs and things will perk right up.
Remember to wash your hands. Hospitals are basins of filth and disease.

When I'm the lucky family member playing nurse/maid to a sick relative, I head straight to the Hospital Bar and order numerous CC's of alcohol.
