"Pft.
Everytime I hear that name I think of this crazy ole lady I work wit.
She dirty."
"What? You mean she curses?"
"No, I mean she dirty...and crazy.
I axt her the other day, 'How come you so dirty?'
Girl, she lookt me straight in the eye and said,
'I ain't dirty. I'm Sandy.'
Couldn't much argue wit dat."

Okay...eww! Like that’s pretty much her excuse for everything, “My house ain’t filthy it’s just a little Sandy or “Hop in my car an brush the Sandy off the seats.” All I can think of is in Pink Flamingos, “Miss Sandstone....Miss Sandy Sandstone...”
The voice of Sandy that I heard in my head (ahem) while reading this exchange was that of Ruth Brown.
Call the Mr Sandman that lady needs some rest...
Oh yes, she did!
