Once upon a time, I read that your favorite fairy tale could reveal a lot about your personality. Maybe it was from Bruno Bettelheim, maybe it was from an internet chain letter.
Who knows.
Mine has always been Rapunzel.
It takes no psychotherapist to figure out why.
I mean really.
Locked up in a tower by an over protective parental figure?
Duh.
Anyway, I always loved how she didn't just wait for the Prince to make his way up to her.
Hell, she gave him a rope...even if it must have hurt her hair.

I liked all Fairy Tales because of the great illustrations, especially if there were clothes, or food, involved. I especially liked, "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" because they got nurtured with, "..bread and milk and blackberries for supper". That sounds so yummy delicious!
PS I do NOT have an eating disorder.
My favorite is The Little Match Girl, for it is so transforming and sad/comforting.

Mine is an easy one to Sleeping Beauty! I'm always passed out from the gin intake.
Mine was The ugly ducking... and it figures: I gradually got over my chidlhood&adolescence complexes. Needless to say, I was not popular in school/highschool (a freak) but I'm living it up now.

I would have to say Rapunzel as well- being locked up in a tower (of my own design) resonates and unfortunately I keep cutting my hair.
