"New Orleans 1957 or 8..."

I often find myself, when boredom strikes, looking over the Missed Connections section of craigslist. The postings there often verge on poetry, I think.
And every now and then, I find something that kicks up
a short story in my head. Like this one, below:

New Orleans 1957 or 8 I was a teenager looking for anything opposie Jackson Square Hector was looking for a parking space.I'm still looking for Hector. I heard he had moved to Jamica New York does anyone know if he is even still alive. I would like him to know that I have loved him my whole life.
